"My girls have been with Grow with us for 2 years now and they love it. The staff is great, and communicate with me, which is huge. My oldest loves her teacher miss aunty, she's great! She adores my girls and its nice to chat and get laughs together when she tells me about their day. All around a safe trustworthy center to bring your children."

“The staff are caring and have always welcomed my daughter by name when arriving and leaving. She has grown so much over the last 4 years while being at GWU and I’m so grateful we found them when we did! The communication is great and I always feel like I know how my daughter is doing. Everyone (especially Lisa and Cassie) has listened to anything I’ve said or asked and really helped individualize the support needed for our daughter. I can’t say enough positive things about GWU :) We are sad to be leaving once our daughter starts kindergarten this year, but we know bc of GWU that she is ready and well prepared for Kindergarten. :)"

“I have worked in early childhood my whole life, so I am very picky about where my kids attend childcare. Grow With Us blows my mind every day. They are absolutely exceptional in the care they provide. I pick my son up from them and he asks for “5 more minutes”. He’s so excited every day to come to school and cheers when we pull in the parking lot. No joke. He’s almost 3 and he’s always been a smart boy but they are constantly learning. Before 3 years old, he can count to 3. He has 1 to 1 correspondence with his numbers. They even potty trained him in less than a week. We drive out of our way for our son to attend this center because of how fantastic the quality of care is. Cooper especially loves Ms. Christy the director! All of the staff at Grow With Us is top notch!"

"I found GWU years ago when my boys were 1 & 3. We had been at a In-home care facility and my 3 year old was in need of a change of pace and peers his age. I toured several places but was impressed with the teachers and director at GWU. Crazy to look back but we have now been there for 5 years.

There communication has always been great. As a parent getting pictures throughout the day of your kiddo having fun, doing activities, and making friends is so reassuring. They send out Holiday schedules early so as a parent you can plan. We navigated covid here and always felt that they had families top of mind.

The staff loves kids and puts together age appropriate activities for the different classrooms. The Holiday art pieces are the best. My Mothers day art is always the sweetest.

As my boys entered into school age they were able to do before and after school care here. They have spent their summers here too and have had fun going to parks, swimming, flying Squirrel, and other activities.

I can't say enough good things about this place. I have referred many friends here."

Grow With Us uses a new communication tool called Brightwheel.

Brightwheel is an interactive app designed to enhance communication between teachers and parents throughout the day. It enables the exchange of messages, photos, videos, lesson plans, and more. Teachers can share essential details about each child's nap times, meals, diapering or potty training, and important reminders for parents. With Brightwheel, parents receive a comprehensive snapshot of their child's daily experiences.

Grow With Us has been providing quality child care since 1988 in our community. Over the course of this time, we have strived to constantly improve and update our centers, our curriculum, and the value that we offer to the children and families in our program. Recent advancements in technology and research have paved the way for improvements in the quality of early learning. Grow With Us has been at the forefront of these advancements in the early learning field by partnering with Early Achievers.

What Are Early Achievers?

Early Achievers is a framework for improving the quality of early care in Washington to ensure that:

Children have access to high-quality early learning experiences that help them develop the skills they need to be successful in school and beyond.

Parents can find high-quality child care and early learning programs that fit their needs by providing evidence-based information about facility quality.

Early learning professionals have access to the resources and support they need to provide quality care that supports each child's learning and development.

Early Achievers has built a state-wide system of high-quality early learning by bringing families, early learning professionals, and resources together to support each child's learning and development.

How does Early Achievers work?

Early Achievers uses an easy-to-understand rating system to track growth in quality improvement of participating early care providers. At Levels I and 2, early learning professionals are "participating in quality improvement" through training and activities. Facilities that are rated Levels 3—5 have achieved a "quality level of excellence" through an on-site evaluation focused on the learning environment and interactions between teachers and children. Grow With Us Preschool and Childcare Curriculum and Education

Grow With Us proudly uses The Creative Curriculum in our classrooms!

We can only begin to imagine the future careers that today's children will take on, which is why it's so important that we provide them with a strong foundation. Research shows that a whole child approach to education – one where children develop not only math and literacy skills but also the social-emotional, physical, and cognitive skills necessary to communicate, think both critically and creatively, and solve complex problems – is developmentally appropriate and better prepares children for life well beyond their time in a classroom.

The Creative Curriculum® for Preschool is a comprehensive, research-based curriculum that promotes exploration and discovery as a way of learning, enabling children to develop confidence, creativity, and lifelong critical thinking skills.

USDA Food Program and Meals

Grow With Us participates in the USDA food program to serve nutritious breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack at our centers. Daily meals are included in our tuition rates.

The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) is a federally funded child nutrition program that reimburses nonresidential care facilities for nutritious meals and snacks served to children who are enrolled in care. The goal is to improve and maintain the health and nutritional status of children in care while promoting the development of good eating habits.
